During your initial consultation and site walk-through, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will discuss your project scope, design preferences, goals, anticipated timeline, and overall project investment. Your completed client questionnaire will help guide the conversation and provide a better understanding of your vision and project needs.

During the same visit, DMAID will evaluate the space and gather applicable measurements, photographs, videos, and notes to document its existing condition. The information collected will help establish the foundation for space planning, design development, selections, and the overall direction of your project.

Following your consultation, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will prepare a customized proposal outlining the recommended scope of services, applicable service fees, anticipated timeframe, and other project-specific details. The proposal may be revised as needed before final approval.

Once the proposal is approved, DMAID will provide the applicable contract for review and signature. The proposal and contract will establish the approved scope of work, project expectations, and terms before proceeding to the next phase of the design process.

Upon approval of the proposal and completion of the contract, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) requires a 50% initial retainer before the project can officially begin. The initial retainer is non-refundable and will be credited toward the total service fees for the selected design package.

Once your project is officially underway, you will receive an onboarding package containing important information to help prepare you for the design process. This includes project expectations, communication guidelines, anticipated timelines, payment schedules, and other details relevant to your selected services.

During this phase, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will begin developing the creative direction for your project based on the approved scope of work, information gathered during the consultation, and details documented during the site walk-through.

Depending on your selected services, this phase may include space planning, design concepts, color palettes, design boards, furniture and décor selections, materials and finishes, lighting, and other applicable design elements. Each selection is thoughtfully considered to create a cohesive design that reflects your needs and DMAID’s signature Moody, Minimalist, and Modern approach.

You will have opportunities to review the proposed design direction, provide feedback, and approve applicable selections before the project advances to purchasing, coordination, or implementation. The timeframe for this phase will vary depending on the size, scope, and complexity of your project.

Once the design is approved, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will begin coordinating the applicable purchasing, ordering, and execution of your project. Depending on your selected services, this may include procuring furniture, décor, materials, and finishes, as well as coordinating with applicable contractors, vendors, and suppliers.

Throughout this phase, DMAID will oversee applicable project activities, communicate important updates, and help ensure the approved design is carried through from concept to implementation. Timelines may vary based on product availability, deliveries, contractor schedules, and the overall scope of work.

Throughout applicable stages of your project, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will conduct inspection periods to review completed work and applicable products before moving forward with the next phase. This may include reviewing contractor or trade work and inspecting furniture, décor, materials, and other project items for visible damage, defects, or concerns.

If an issue is identified, DMAID will communicate the findings and assist with coordinating the appropriate next steps with the applicable contractor, vendor, retailer, or supplier based on the client’s approved scope of work. Our goal is to address concerns promptly while maintaining the quality and overall design direction of the project.

THE MOMENT IS HERE! After the planning, designing, coordinating, and final preparations are complete, DM Aesthetics Interiors & Decor (DMAID) will bring your transformed space together for the Grand Reveal.

This phase is all about experiencing the finished design and seeing your vision come to life. From the larger design elements to the smallest finishing touches, each detail is thoughtfully brought together to create a cohesive space that reflects your needs, preferences, and the approved design vision.

The Grand Reveal marks the exciting completion of the DMAID design experience—and the beginning of enjoying your newly transformed space.
